Goal: Improve you writing by learning how to incorporate figurative language into it.
1. Go to the Similes and Metaphors page on BrainPOP.
2. Watch the video and complete the activity on the computer.
3. When you finish the activity, take a PrtScn of it and paste it into an email to me for credit. (a.lluberes@mcschool.edu.do)
4. Look up the lyrics of your favorite song online and label in notebooks all similes, metaphors, alliterations and onomatopoeia's you can find.
5. Homework: Write a messay (mini-essay) about a fictional imaginary vacation using 5 vocabulary words from Bridge to Terabithia, and use at least 1 simile, 1 metaphor and 1 onomatopoeia.
